Age: 38 moons
Clan: RainClan

Personality
Puddlestar tends to be stubborn and disagreeable sometimes, mostly to other Clans. She is somewhat overprotective of her Clan. However, she has her good side, which she shows a lot in her Clan. She tries to not let her Clan down when there's something hopeless, although it doesn't always help. She can be a bit clumsy at times, mostly during hunting, where she'll scare the prey away, but she's better at fighting.
History
Puddlestar, Puddlekit back then, was born in RainClan to Mothtail, along with her brother, Foxkit. Puddlekit enjoyed playing with other kits, but her brother was more shy and would spend time on his own, with the exception of talking to his sister.
Soon enough, their apprentice ceremony came. Puddlekit was now Puddlepaw, and Foxkit was now Foxpaw. Puddlepaw recieved the senior warrior Lichenheart as a mentor, and Foxpaw had Leafstem, another senior warrior. Lichenheart was a great mentor for Puddlepaw- She was wise and gave her apprentice great advice. It took her a while to learn how to hunt properly, but Lichenheart noticed that she had somewhat good fighting skills.
Every night, after every other apprentice was asleep, Puddlepaw and Foxpaw would whisper to each other about what they did during the day. It felt good to have someone to talk to after a long day.
Soon came Puddlepaw's first battle. Three Rogues had been spotted intruding and stealing some prey, but a patrol that included Puddlepaw and Lichenheart fought them off. During the battle, the rogues gave the patrol a few minor wounds, but they fought back. Puddlepaw thought she might join StarClan during the battle after being pinned down, but got up and gave the rogue who pinned her down a nick in his right ear and a scratch on his back. Soon Lichenheart leaped at the tom at scratched his muzzle. After all the fighting, the rogues were driven out of RainClan territory. The patrol soon went back to camp. Puddlepaw had a cut on her leg that still hurt, but she didn't care. She was just happy that RainClan was able to drive out the rogues. She was in grief for Mothtail, though, who died during the battle.
Later on that day, Puddlepaw received her warrior name; Puddletail. Foxpaw was the first to yowl her new warrior name. His assessment would be the next day, but Puddletail was a bit sad about not talking to her brother in the apprentice den, but at least he'd probably be a warrior by the next day.
Puddletail was to silently sit vigil in camp. She knew it was important, but would've liked to talk to Foxpaw.
The next day, she went on her first hunting patrol as a warrior. She caught a squirrel, and when she went back to camp, Foxpaw's warrior ceremony was held, and he was given the name Foxstripe. Foxstripe was, of course, supposed to sit vigil in camp. Puddletail hoped they'd be able to talk in the Warriors' Den after that night.
Just a little over three moons later, she was given her first apprentice; Fogpaw. Fogpaw wasn't the easiest to please. She was stubborn and sometimes even careless.
Lichenheart joined the Elder's Den after getting a leg injury. Puddletail hoped she'd have moons of good rest as an elder. Fogpaw didn't seem to understand Puddletail's bond with Lichenheart, but Puddletail knew she was only a young kit when she was an apprentice.
Even though Puddletail tried to be kinder to Fogpaw, but it didn't help. Fogpaw remained the stubborn apprentice Puddletail had always known.
Foxstripe recieved an apprentice of his own just a few days after Fogpaw; Robinpaw, Fogpaw's sister, whose ceremony came slightly late. Even though Fogpaw should have been training, both Puddletail and Foxstripe decided that it would be good for Fogpaw to help her sister while she was being shown the borders. Puddletail, of course, came as well.
Foxstripe and Puddletail pointed out the borders and some of the Clan landmarks to Robinpaw, and Fogpaw helped.
A few moons later, Fogpaw and Robinpaw's Warrior Ceremonies were due soon. Lichenheart became ill after drinking water from The Stream. Robinpaw also lapped up water from the stream, not knowing that it was the same source that gave Lichenheart the disease. She too later on fell ill, and Foxstripe became worried. She and Lichenheart stayed in the Medicine Den, but couldn't get rid of the disease. Lichenheart made the journey to StarClan soon after, and Robinpaw too later the same day. Puddletail and Foxstripe were both in grief for their former mentor and apprentice. Fogpaw was sad too for the loss of her sister.
Not too long later, Fogpaw recieved her warrior name; Fogface, although she was still in deep grief for her sister. For once she was less stubborn, although Puddletail understood why.
When Littlemouse, RainClan's deputy, dies, Gracklestar is expected to appoint a new deputy before moonhigh; Puddletail assumes it will be a senior warrior that Gracklestar knows well, but little does she know Gracklestar almost stepped into a puddle, figuring out it was an omen.
She was interested during the new deputy ceremony, waiting to find out who it would be. She was surprised to hear her name and not a senior warrior's, but accepted her position as deputy. Foxstripe and Fogface were the first to yowl her name after just being appointed deputy.
At first she was nervous at her job at organizing patrols, but got used to it after a while.
Puddletail became worried after realizing Gracklestar was on his ninth and final life. If he died anytime soon, she'd become leader in his place and would have to lead and protect her Clan. She hoped Gracklestar wouldn't make his journey to StarClan anytime soon.
Foxstripe noticed how Puddletail would daydream about it, and asked her what was wrong. At first, she didn't want to tell, but knew it would be better to tell the truth, especially to her own kin.
Not much later, Gracklestar made his journey to StarClan after dying of an unknown disease and old age, too. Puddletail had no choice but to receive her nine lives and leader name.
When she arrived at the Moonspring, she closed her eyes, waiting for the dream in which she'd receive her nine lives.
She opened her eyes to see StarClan cats around her, including Mothtail, Lichenheart, Robinpaw, Littlemouse, and Gracklestar.
"Puddletail, are you ready to receive your nine lives and name as a leader?" the cats of StarClan asked.
"Yes, I'm ready." Puddletail quietly meowed. She wasn't ready to become leader, but what alternative did she have?
Mothtail stepped forward first."With this life I give you hope." she mewed. "Use it when there's a time of danger and there seems to be nothing left."
Puddletail wasn't expecting so much horror in the life she was just given, but she saw cats attacking from everywhere, ending with darkness. She suddenly realized that she was experiencing how Mothtail felt in the last moments of her life.
Robinpaw was the next cat to step forward and give Puddletail another life.
"Robinpaw!" Puddletail exclaimed. "Foxstripe and Fogface miss you so much!"
Robinpaw nodded, her eyes clouded with a bit of sorrow. "I miss them too." she sadly mewed. "With this life I give you good judgement. Use it when you're not sure where another's loyalties hide."
A cat Puddletail didn't know was the next to give her a life. "I am Sandyheart." the unknown fawn tabby she-cat told her. "You wouldn't know me. I died at the time when Wolf-frost was a danger to all the Clans." she explained. "With this life I give you great strength."
Littlemouse came forward. "With this life I give you faith. StarClan and your Clan will always be there for you." She felt like she was being attacked; just a heartbeat later, the cats attacking her fled. Many other cats stood behind her.
Yet another cat she didn't know was the fifth cat to give her a life. It was a skinny tabby tom, not much bigger than an apprentice. "I am Barkpaw." he told Puddletail. "With this life I give you boldness. Do not be afraid of anything that could happen."
Gracklestar was the next cat. He looked much younger than the leader that she had always known. "Gracklestar!" Puddletail quickly recognized the former leader.. "How will I be able to lead the Clan? I feel like I'm not the best cat to do so."
Gracklestar shook his head. "You are the best cat to do so. I chose you as my deputy, and I don't regret that choice." he explained. "With this life I give you mercy. Use it for good, not bad, and help others when needed." The life wasn't as scary as some of the other ones she'd received. As she received it, she felt as if a cat from a different Clan would die if it wasn't for her saving it.
A fluffy silver she-kit stepped forward. "I am Fluffykit." she mewed. "I died less than a moon before you were born. With this life I give you respect. Don't just use it towards yourself, use it to respect all your Clanmates and even those in rival Clans. You are not better than them, and they are not better than you." As Puddletail recieved the life, she felt the feeling that the elders deserved great respect among their Clanmates for the service they'd given the Clan, and are not to be seen as old, useless cats.
The eighth cat was Foxstripe's former mentor, Leafstem. "With this life I give you mentoring. Use it to help make apprentices become strong and loyal warriors." It gave Puddletail the feeling that all apprentices count and aren't useless.
The ninth and last cat to give Puddletail a life was Lichenheart.
"Lichenheart! I've missed you so much!" Puddletail mewed happily.
Lichenheart nodded. "I know you do, Puddletail. I miss you too, but it was time for me to die." she meowed, a hint of sadness in her eyes. "With this life I give you compassion. Use it to all those who are in RainClan. Be kind to your Clanmates, and they'll be kind to you." she told Puddletail. "Now, I call you by your new name as a leader, Puddlestar. You are now a leader, but that doesn't mean you're not a warrior." Newly named Puddlestar could hear what seemed to be all of StarClan yowling her name.
When she got back to camp, she appointed -Insert current deputy here- as her deputy. S/he proudly still serves under her.

Puddlestar padded out of camp. She just told her Clanmates that she was going for a walk, catching any prey if she could. She felt a Newleaf breeze blow on her grey fur, which just might be a sign that it was a good day to hunt or just even take a walk outside camp.
She watched a squirrel run by. Slowly she crouched down and stalked it, waiting for the best time to pounce. The squirrel stopped moving for a moment and started to eat something. Puddlestar didn't know what it was exactly, but assumed it was a piece of Twoleg food. It was the right time to pounce at it. She made a small rustle sound in the grass, although she hoped the squirrel hadn't heard it, but she knew it had once it slowly looked around.
Quickly, she leaped, but the squirrel had already turned around and was facing her. She knew it had seen her, but didn't care. She just wanted to bring back at least some fresh-kill for the Clan. The squirrel ran, and swiftly climbed up an oak.
Well, there goes the fresh-kill, she thought. She sighed in frustration, hoping she'd at least be able to catch one piece of fresh-kill for the Clan.
"I guess I'll just take a walk then." she muttered to herself. She padded past the camp entrance, walking towards Treefall. She wasn't walking anywhere in specific, just wandering within her Clan's territory. She saw a mouse come out from behind the oak. She crouched down, ready to pounce. The mouse scurried away just as she pounced, but she quickly ran in the direction where it was scurrying to, and leaped at it, she successfully caught it.
Now I'd better get back to camp. she thought. I don't want my Clanmates to be worried.
